Shark fishing

At certain times of the year, several species of shark move in close to the Devon coast and can give exciting sport to dedicated anglers. As most anglers will be aware this type of fishing is a little hit and miss, but can be very rewarding given the right day. Keep in touch with us at the African Queen for your best chance of a fish of a lifetime. Please note: as part of our conservation effort all sharks caught will be returned to the water tagged, and alive, you can keep the photo and the memory for ever, the body will not last long. If you are happy killing sharks, please do not contact us.
