Accommodation on Board

The African Queen can accommodate up to 8 people sleeping on board overnight, accommodation is basic but comfortable, breakfast and lunch can be provided on board. Evening meals are generally taken ashore, although exceptions can of course be made, a number of our guests prefer a late breakfast and an evening meal. Please bring a sleeping bag, soft-soled shoes or boots, warm clothing and waterproofs, you will need your own wash kit and towel. Basic washing facilitys and toilets are available on board, but showers are taken ashore at the Dartmouth Yacht Club, cost £1.00. It is advisable to bring soft bags rather than suitcases, as these are easier to stow. Tea and Coffee or soft drinks are provided throughout the day free of charge.

Over Night Accommodation is £15.00 per person (plus Quay dues. See note*) including Breakfast and Lunch or Brunch and an evening meal.
*We now have to pay about £20 per night to stay on the wall or Town Jetty (in Dartmouth), this cost will be split between the overnight guests on board. If we are in another Port overnight, local fees will apply. There will be no extra charge if we are on our pontoon mooring in the River, but you will have to get the yacht taxi to get ashore or back to the boat
